A 28-year-old man has appeared in an out-of-hours courtroom session in Hobart charged with the tried homicide of a younger father.
Caleb Woods, 24, was shot within the abdomen at shut vary as he stood within the yard of his grandmother’s Bridgewater house two weeks in the past.
On Saturday, Tye Paul Silver appeared within the Magistrates Court docket charged with tried homicide and firearm offences.
Mr Silver, from Herdsman’s Cove, was refused bail by justice of the peace Michael Stoddard and was remanded to seem in courtroom on Monday.
Household and buddies of Mr Silver had been at the back of the courtroom through the bail software.
He didn’t enter a plea to the costs.
On the time of the capturing, Mr Woods was visiting his grandmother.
It got here after he had simply celebrated beginning of his new child simply weeks prior.
