A lady killed on a prepare could have been leaning out of a window when she suffered a blow to the pinnacle, police mentioned.

She died after sustaining critical head accidents on a Bristol Temple Meads-bound service, between Bathtub and Keynsham.

Police mentioned the girl’s demise, at about 22:10 GMT on Saturday, was not being handled as suspicious.

The Rail Accident Investigation Department has been knowledgeable.

A British Transport Police assertion mentioned: “We had been referred to as at round 10.10pm following a report a lady had obtained critical head accidents whereas travelling on a prepare between Bathtub and Keynsham.”

It continued: “Preliminary inquiries counsel the girl could have been leaning out of a window when she suffered a blow to the pinnacle.

“Officers are at the moment working to verify her identification and inform her subsequent of kin.”
