As the UFC rolls out another successful event at its Apex facility in UFC on ESPN 12, Dana White seems to be ready at the next venue. A thing straight out fables, the UFC’s Fight Island seems just as beautiful as fight fans imagined. Thanks to the UFC President’s live reveal, the fans caught a glimpse of the island.

Dana White is apparently on the island and is supervising the setup of the same. He shared some photos of the same on his Instagram account.

Using his tagline, “I don’t give a f**k!”, Dana White introduced his biggest weapon against the coronavirus pandemic.

The UFC birthed the idea of a fight island almost spontaneously upon the onset of the pandemic. And although many doubted the actual possibility of creating a whole fight island, he has cast away all apprehensions.

The famous “Fight Island”, AKA Yas Island, is a destination that the UFC has used for its fights earlier too. The last time that the promotion graced the island off Abu Dhabi was in September for UFC 242.

The UFC Fight Island comes in as a saving light for the promotion. The coronavirus made it impossible for sports to continue at a regular pace. Even though the UFC managed to conduct events within the USA, bans on international travel made fights involving fighters from outside the USA made it difficult for the UFC to put up fights.
