Pat Mahomes new contract With Kansas City Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes has agreed to a new 10-year contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Schefter clarified that the Chiefs are adding two more years onto his current contract, making the deal 12 years in total.

When Mahomes completes this contract extension, he will be the longest-tenured quarterback in Chiefs history, surpassing Len Dawson (14 seasons) and Mike Livingston (12 seasons). And he’ll have made a lot more money that either of them ever dreamed.

Schefter first reported that the extension was worth $450 million, with $140 million in injury guarantees. Then NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport dropped an even bigger bombshell.

Then Schefter went along with Rapoport’s numbers.
